SUMMIT CODE
OF CONDUCT
To ensure a positive experience, all Summit attendees must
adhere to our Code of Conduct. Attendees are expected to
treat all participants, speakers, sponsors, and staff with
respect and consideration, refraining from any
discriminatory, harassing, or offensive behavior or speech.
It's important to take responsibility for one's actions and
their impact on others, while also respecting the venue and
property, including all shared spaces and resources.
Conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times is
crucial. This includes following the instructions of Summit
staff and volunteers, as well as adhering to any health and
safety guidelines provided by the organizers. Harassment,
intimidation, or discrimination in any form will not be
tolerated. This encompasses verbal comments, unwanted
physical contact, and unwelcome attention.
Respect for the privacy of other attendees is essential.
Personal information should be handled with care and
discretion. Engagement in discussions and activities should
be constructive and respectful, with a willingness to share
insights and experiences while remaining open to others'
perspectives. Compliance with all applicable local, state, and
federal laws and regulations, as well as following all rules and
guidelines provided by the Summit venue, is mandatory.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in actions
ranging from a warning to expulsion from the Summit
without a refund, depending on the severity of the offense.
Serious incidents may be reported to local law enforcement
if necessary.
Thank you for your cooperation and for contributing to a
positive and productive Summit experience. If you
experience or witness a violation of these codes of conduct
and can’t locate Summit staff, please call our emergency
