9. Leadership Academy Committee Workplan (2026)
This committee will operate as is based on the official 2026 LIT
Leadership Academy.
Program Description

Core Function for 2026
The Leadership Academy Committee manages the entire LITLA
program lifecycle, following the fully structured 2026 model without
modification. This includes reviewing applications, supporting
track/module delivery, overseeing capstone timelines, and
coordinating with the Program Coordinator and Executive Director.
2026 Program Structure (Committee Oversight Areas)
1. Recruitment & Selection (December 2025–February 2026)
Applications open Dec 1, 2025 and close Jan 12, 2026 (p.9)
Committee ensures fair review and scoring of applicants
Participants announced Feb 13, 2026
2. Program Delivery: Tracks & Modules (March–August 2026)
Committee ensures successful execution of all modules described on
pages 5–8 of the program guide.
Tracks include:
Making of an Executive (5 modules)
Leading in Middle Management (5 modules)
New Careers in Transit (5 modules)
Transit Board Leadership (5 modules)
