Capstone Project Guide
Ongoing Activities
Introduce Your Team to Your Mentor: Establish contact early to set the foundation
for a supportive mentorship. LIT will provide the contact information of the assigned
mentor.
Request Feedback from Mentor and/or Program Coordinator: Utilize their insights
to strengthen your project.
Schedule a Q&A Meeting with the Program Coordinator to discuss your
presentation’s structure, audience questions, visual aids, reference list, and/or obtain
feedback on the design and effectiveness of your materials. This meeting is optional.

Capstone Project Presentation Details
The presentation will be 30 minutes in total: 20 minutes for the presentation and
10 minutes for Q&A.
Please dress professionally in business attire.
Resource Formatting
All resources and references must be formatted in APA style at the end of your
presentation.
Presentation Coaching
LIT will offer dedicated coaching sessions to help you refine your presentation skills:
July 1, 2026, @ 11:00 AM CT: Presentation Coaching (1.5 hours, Online)
September 2, 2026, @ 11:00 AM CT: Presentation Coaching (1.5 hours, Online)
In addition, LIT will provide public speaking coaching with a professional coach to
help you articulate effectively during your conference presentation.
We are dedicated to supporting your success throughout the program. Participants are
encouraged to seek guidance, feedback, and assistance from mentors, the program
coordinator, or staff at any time, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning
environment.
