Program Track: The Making of an Executive
Project Title: Potential Changes to the Transit Industry with AI
Our project examines how practical, near term AI tools can help transit agencies improve safety,
advance equity, and strengthen daily operations. Drawing from proven industry practices, our
white paper highlights real world applications that agencies can implement without significant
new funding or complex system changes.
Our micro lecture will provide a concise overview of how AI can increase staff efficiency,
improve responsiveness to diverse community needs, and enhance both the rider and
employee experience.
Our panel discussion will explore how agencies can adopt AI responsibly and equitably while
remaining grounded in budget realities, workforce capacity, governance, and public trust. The
goal is to show that thoughtful AI adoption is not a future concept, but a practical opportunity
available today.
