SESSION 6 | LEADERSHIP AND SOFT SKILLS
DEVELOPMENT
Session 6 Goal: Develop the participants' leadership and
interpersonal skills through discussions on communication,
teamwork, and problem-solving, supported by targeted resources
or participation in workshops and webinars.
Activity: Facilitator and participants discuss the importance of leadership and
soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. The
facilitator shares resources or invites the participants to a workshop or
webinar on these topics.
Outcome: Participants begin to develop key leadership and interpersonal
skills.

for improvement, and compile a list of
specific challenges to discuss with the
facilitator (see example). Submit the
challenges list.
Attend the recommended workshop,
webinar, or training session, taking

Review participant’s leadership and
soft skills challenges document.
Share relevant resources such as
articles, books, or training
opportunities that highlight the
importance of leadership and soft skills
in professional success.
Recommend a workshop or webinar on
leadership and soft skills.
Facilitate a conversation to provide
feedback on the participant’s current
skills and suggest ways to apply new
strategies.
Provide insight and advice on avoiding
and managing career burnout.
