VIRTUAL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The LIT Navigate Mentorship Program will be fully implemented using virtual platforms
to ensure accessibility for participants from different locations. Here’s how the program
will be structured virtually:
1. Virtual Platform:
We will use a user-friendly virtual meeting platform (e.g., Zoom) for sessions.
Communication will also take place via email and the program’s online
dashboard for quick updates, reminders, and resources.
All activities and actions must be submitted via email.
2. Kick-Off Orientation Session:
It is a requirement to attend orientation in order to participate in the program.
An invitation to the orientation will be sent to participants to the email
submitted in the application.
During this session, we will:
Outline the program’s objectives, structure, and expectations.
Give participants an overview of the resources and tools available for their
development.
3. Resources:
We will provide participants with templates, worksheets, goal-setting templates,
and networking tips they can use to guide discussions and keep track of progress.
4. Progress Tracking and Feedback:
Virtual check-ins will be organized by program coordinators to gather feedback
and provide additional resources or guidance.
5. Virtual Events and Webinars:
Throughout the program’s duration, we will invite participants to virtual
networking events, panel discussions, and webinars featuring industry leaders
and experts. These events will complement the mentorship program and provide
further learning and networking opportunities for participants.
6. Completion:
Participants who attend all sessions and complete all assignments will receive a
certificate of completion and complete a self-branding book.
