Session 2 Goal: Align personal growth with industry trends to
enhance career development and strategic awareness.
Activity: Facilitator and participants meet to draft an Individual Development
Plan (IDP). Facilitator shares insights into current industry trends and
challenges, providing relevant articles, reports, or case studies. Participants
reflect on how these trends impact their goals and career trajectory.
Outcome: Participants gain a deeper understanding of the industry landscape.

Review the materials (articles, reports,
or case studies) shared by the
facilitator.
Identify key industry trends and
challenges that resonate with your
goals and career trajectory.
Reflect on how these trends impact
your current role, skills, and
aspirations. Use the reflection
template to:
Organize thoughts on how the
trends impact skills and aspirations.
Prepare a summary of reflections
and specific questions to discuss
with facilitator.
Update IDP if needed.
Facilitator
Review the completed IDP form and
resume.

industry trends and challenges (IT&C).
Share the curated materials with the
participant, providing context on why
they are relevant to the participant’s
