STRATEGIC EVALUATION SUMMARY
The 2020–2025 Strategic Plan guided LIT through foundational growth, but
recent evaluations revealed a critical need for refinement. Strengths included
high member engagement, national visibility, and programmatic success
through the Leadership Academy and Café Con LIT. However, the plan was too
broad, lacked internal role clarity, and required more consistent performance
metrics. Members also expressed the need for practical tools and clearer
program outcomes.
The updated plan streamlines efforts into focused pillars, aligns each initiative
with defined outcomes, and directly addresses the evaluation's findings. The
addition of operational staff roles, committee accountability, and communityfocused education ensures that LIT evolves from a program-rich nonprofit to a
strategically positioned industry leader.
