Programming for Small Business Development in Public
Transportation
Submission Deadline: February 15, 2026
Latinos In Transit (LIT) invites transit agencies, industry consultants,
technical trainers, small business resource providers, primes,
universities, and regional partners to submit proposals for
programming to be offered through the 2026 LIT Small Business
Academy.
The Academy is designed to support all small businesses operating
within or seeking to enter the public transportation sector. Our focus
is on equipping firms of all backgrounds with the tools, knowledge,
and access necessary to thrive as contractors, vendors, partners, or
service providers in transit.
This RFP is informed by 2025–2026 survey feedback from the LIT
Small Business Committee and member businesses.
